Chaparral, NM (July 5, 2026) – A two-vehicle crash near mile marker 7 on Highway 404 in Chaparral left three people hurt on Saturday evening, July 4. 

The impact trapped one occupant inside a vehicle. The Doña Ana County Fire Rescue crews arrived just after 8 p.m. and freed the trapped occupant from the wreckage. Emergency units also evaluated everyone involved at the scene.
