Albuquerque, NM (September 23, 2023) – A car crash in Albuquerque ended in injuries and traffic delays in Saturday, September 23. At approximately 5:58 p.m., responders, including EMTs, police, and firefighters, were sent to the wreck site on Central Avenue. 

Police in Albuquerque report the incident took place on Central Avenue near South Frontage Road. Two or more cars collided under circumstances that remain unclear at this time. 

Responders remained at the wreck site for an extended time period, resulting in substantial traffic delays. Authorities are working to determine the reason the collision happened. 

Local motorists were forced to find alternate travel routes for the time being.
