Albuquerque, NM - Major Injury Collision at Central Ave & Tramway Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (September 28, 2023) - There were serious injuries reported after a car crash in the Albuquerque area on Thursday, September 28. 

The incident was reported early that morning at around 7:42 a.m. at the intersection of Central Avenue NE and Tramway Boulevard NE. At least one person involved was hurt, and emergency responders were quickly dispatched to render aid to the injured parties. The roadway was temporarily closed while paramedics were present, and those requiring additional support were later hospitalized for further treatment. 

The severity and number of resulting injuries have not been confirmed at this time. The area was later reopened to outside traffic after tow trucks were able to clear the resulting debris. 

No further information on the accident has been made public at this time. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in the hands of local law enforcement officials.
