Albuquerque, NM – Injuries Reported in Auto Wreck on I-25

Albuquerque, NM (November 12, 2023) – At least one person was transported to a local hospital with injuries as a result of a car crash that occurred on Saturday afternoon in the Albuquerque area.

At approximately 3:35 p.m. on November 11, the Albuquerque Fire Rescue and police were notified that they were needed at the scene of an automobile accident on Interstate 25.

Reports show that a collision between vehicles blocked the northbound frontage road of Interstate 25. The incident prompted authorities to shut down the roadway for approximately 45 minutes as they worked to remove the damaged vehicles and debris.

Medics were requested on-site to care for victims who sustained injuries as a result of this automobile collision. Those who required further medical attention were transported by ambulance to local hospitals.

The crash is being investigated by the police in Albuquerque at this time.
