Santa Fe, NM - Pedestrian Killed in Crash at Airport Rd & Zepol Rd

Santa Fe, NM (June 4, 2024) - A man was killed after being hit by a motor vehicle in the Santa Fe area on Saturday, June 1. The deadly accident was reported at the corner of Airport Road and Zepol Road. Emergency crews were dispatched after being notified of a man who had been hit near the Chamisa Center. 

The victim was found lying on the median when emergency responders arrived. Despite life-saving measures from responding officials, the pedestrian sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. The identity of the deceased party has not been provided at this time. No further information on the incident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the collision is being handled by local law enforcement officials.
