Albuquerque, NM - Indian School Rd & San Mateo Blvd Injury Wreck

Albuquerque, NM (August 30, 2024) - On Friday, August 30, at least one person sustained injuries following a car crash in the Albuquerque area. The accident occurred near the intersection of Indian School Road NE and San Mateo Boulevard NE that morning around 8:17 a.m. Emergency responders were quickly dispatched to provide aid to the involved parties. 

The number and severity of the resulting injuries have not yet been determined. The injured parties were treated by responding paramedics before being hospitalized by ambulance. The circumstances leading to the collision were not provided in the initial reports. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. Tow trucks were later sent to reopen the road to outside traffic. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
