Speeding-related Crashes in New Mexico
Most people know that speeding is a major cause of terrible car crashes, and people in New Mexico are often guilty of this reckless habit. More than 37 percent of fatal accidents in the state are caused by drivers who are going too fast, according to the figures. In the United States, more than 10,000 people die every year in high-speed accidents, and in the last twenty years, speeding has been linked to more than one-third of automobile deaths. When drivers are going too fast, they can’t see possible dangers on the road or keep control of their car to avoid accidents that could be fatal.
