Albuquerque, NM – Major Injury Car Wreck at I-40 & Coors Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (September 21, 2024) – A serious auto accident in the Albuquerque area on Saturday, September 21, required support from local paramedics. The collision occurred that morning around 8:51 a.m. on Interstate 40 WB near Coors Boulevard NW. At least one person involved in the crash was hurt. 

Emergency crews were quickly dispatched in order to render aid to the involved parties. At this time, the severity of the resulting injuries has not been confirmed. The area was temporarily closed while emergency responders were present. Ambulances were available to transport the injured parties to local hospitals for further treatment. Tow trucks were later dispatched to clear the resulting debris and reopen the roadway to outside traffic. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in progress.
