New Mexico High-Speed Collisions
It is commonly known that speeding is a key contributing factor to catastrophic car accidents, and New Mexico drivers routinely speed when behind the wheel. Statistics reveal that speeding drivers cause almost 37 percent of the state’s deadly crashes. In the last 20 years, speeding has been connected to over one-third of road deaths, with over 10,000 individuals dying in high-speed crashes annually in the United States. When a motorist speeds, they are less able to react to possible hazards on the road and keep control of their vehicle, which could result in potentially fatal collisions.
