Alamogordo, NM – Injuries in Dust Storm Semi Crash on US-54
Alamogordo, NM (March 19, 2025) – On Tuesday, there were confirmed injuries after a multi-vehicle crash outside of Alamogordo. The incident took place on US-54 in Otero County. Local reports revealed that five semi-trucks were involved in the incident.
Impaired visibility to a dust storm is believed to have contributed to the crash. There were no deaths reported, but three prisoners traveling in a prison transport van were reportedly injured.
