Albuquerque, NM (February 17, 2024) – During the morning hours on Saturday, February 17, emergency officials out of Albuquerque were called to the scene of a car crash that occurred in the International District. Calls for assistance came in at around 9:20 a.m.

Police reports indicate that vehicles collided on Central Avenue Southeast, US Route 66. The incident prompted the police and firefighters to respond and close down the roadway near Alvarado Drive Southeast. At least one person was injured as a result of the crash.
