Albuquerque, NM – Accident Reported on 98th St NW near Bluewater Rd

Albuquerque, NM (January 6, 2024) – A traffic wreck reported in the Albuquerque area left at least one person injured. On January 5, the Albuquerque Police Department and local firefighters were called to the scene of a vehicle collision on 98th Street Northwest.

At around 5:50 p.m., a crash between vehicles blocked the roadway in the area near Bluewater Road. APD and firefighters blocked off the intersection while assisting at the scene. Medics were called to the site of the accident to provide medical care to victims who suffered injuries. At least one of the involved victims was transported to a local hospital for further care. The police department in Albuquerque is investigating the crash at this time.
