Albuquerque, NM – At Least One Hurt in Crash at I-40 & Louisiana Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (August 31, 2024) – On Friday, August 30, there were confirmed injuries following a traffic accident in the Albuquerque area. The accident took place at around 9:13 p.m. on Interstate 40 WB off-ramp near Louisiana Boulevard NE. Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to the scene to render aid to the involved parties. 

At least one person involved in the crash was hurt. The number and severity of the related damages have not been confirmed. Ambulances were available to transport the crash victims to local hospitals for further support. The area was closed for several hours while emergency crews were present. Tow trucks were later dispatched to clear the resulting debris and reopen the roadway to outside traffic. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in progress.
