Albuquerque, NM – At Least One Hurt in Crash on Woodland Ave

Albuquerque, NM (August 21, 2024) – At least one person suffered injuries in the aftermath of a serious car wreck in Albuquerque on Tuesday, August 20. Late that day, around 11:49 p.m., emergency responders were dispatched to the scene at the 9002 block of Woodland Avenue NE. The number and severity of the resulting injuries have not yet been determined. 

The injured parties were treated at the scene before being transferred to local hospitals by ambulance. The circumstances leading to the collision have not been provided at this time. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews worked the scene. Tow trucks were needed to remove the resulting debris and reopen the area to outside traffic.
