Speeding-Related Crashes in New Mexico
New Mexico drivers have a bad reputation for being careless on the road. Driving while distracted, speeding, and intoxication are some of the main reasons for major accidents in the state. Speeding is a very bad habit on the state’s roads. Tens of thousands of Americans are killed every year by drivers who exceed the speed limit. In the last 20 years, speeding has been linked to about a third of all road deaths across the country. If you are going over the speed limit, you are more likely to lose control of your car and get hurt badly in an accident. Speed limits are in place for a reason, and drivers who break the law should be held accountable in the event of a crash. Most of the time, you can only do this if you have a trained lawyer help you with your personal injury claim.
