Albuquerque, NM – At Least One Injured in Collision at I-25 & I-40

Albuquerque, NM (June 12, 2024) – On Wednesday, June 12, there were confirmed injuries following a traffic accident in the Albuquerque area. The crash occurred on Interstate 25 SB near Interstate 40 EB early that morning around 6:56 a.m. At least one person involved in the collision was hurt. 

The severity and number of the resulting injuries have not been determined thus far. Emergency crews were dispatched to render aid to the involved parties. Those requiring further treatment were later transferred to nearby hospitals for further treatment. The area was temporarily closed until tow trucks could remove the resulting wreckage and other debris. No updates on the conditions of the injured parties have been provided. However, an ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in the hands of local law enforcement officials.
