Albuquerque, NM – At Least One Injured in Crash at I-25 & Montano Rd

Albuquerque, NM (February 16, 2024) – On Thursday, February 15, there were reported injuries following a car crash in the Albuquerque area. The accident occurred on Interstate 25 NB near Montano Road NE that night at around 10:54 p.m. The injured parties were provided immediate aid at the scene by attending medical personnel. 

At least one person involved in the collision was hurt. At this time, the number and severity of the related damages have not been determined. Those requiring further treatment were later hospitalized by ambulance. 

The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. Tow trucks were needed to clear the site of the resulting debris and reopen the road to outside traffic. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
