Albuquerque, NM – At Least One Injured in Crash on Coal Ave

Albuquerque, NM (July 21, 2024) –  There were confirmed injuries resulting from an auto accident in the Albuquerque area on Sunday, July 21 . The accident was reported early that morning at around 2:47 a.m. at the 1504 block of Coal Avenue SE. At least one person suffered injuries in the accident. 

The severity and number of the resulting injuries have not yet been determined. Emergency crews were dispatched in order to render aid to the involved parties. Those requiring further treatment were later transferred to local hospitals for further treatment. At this time, the circumstances leading to the accident have not been provided. The roadway was temporarily closed until tow trucks were able to clear the road of the resulting wreckage and other debris. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in the hands of local law enforcement officials.
