Albuquerque, NM – Auto Accident at I-40 & Unser Blvd Causes Injury

Albuquerque, NM (October 18, 2024) – On Thursday, October 17, there were confirmed injuries after a car accident in the Albuquerque area. The collision was reported that evening around 7:50 p.m. on Interstate 40 WB on-ramp at Unser Boulevard NW. Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties. 

At least one person involved in the wreck was injured, but the severity and number of the resulting injuries have not been confirmed. The area was temporarily closed while emergency responders were present, and tow trucks were needed to clear the site of the resulting debris. No additional information has been provided. However,  an ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
