Albuquerque, NM - EMTs Assist Injured Crash Victims on I-40 near milepost 159

Albuquerque, NM (April 29, 2023) - A serious car crash happened in Albuquerque on the afternoon of April 29. At approximately 2:00 p.m., emergency responders were dispatched to the crash scene to help those involved. 

At this time, the cause of the incident has not been reported. Authorities and paramedics were observed at the scene rendering aid a short time after the accident. 

The victims who were injured in the collision have not been identified at this time. Police in Albuquerque continue to investigate the circumstances that led to the crash. 

Traffic delays occurred in the area while emergency responders worked to help at the scene. Police asked local drivers to use different travel routes while the accident site was active with emergency crews.
