Albuquerque, NM - Auto Collision with Injuries on I-40 near University Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (April 29, 2023) - A car crash happened in Albuquerque on the night of Friday, April 28. At approximately 5:48 p.m., emergency crews were sent to the scene of the accident on Interstate 40. 

At this time, the cause of the crash has not been reported. Authorities and paramedics were sent to the scene shortly after the accident occurred in order to help those involved. 

Reports show the incident happened on Interstate 40 near University Boulevard. Two or more cars crashed and injured at least one person involved. 

The roadway was blocked while crews worked at the scene. Police urged local motorists to use alternate routes while the roadway was occupied by emergency crews.
