Albuquerque, NM – Car Accident on Zuni Rd SE Ends in Injuries

Albuquerque, NM (April 21, 2024) - The Albuquerque Police Department, Albuquerque Fire Rescue, and emergency medical services were all summoned to provide assistance at the scene of a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Saturday, April 20.

At around 6:30 p.m., vehicles collided on Zuni Road Southeast in the Trumbull Village neighborhood. Authorities responded to the scene and immediately closed off a portion of the roadway as they went to work on removing the involved vehicles and debris. Emergency medical services were notified that they were needed on-site. Medics rendered aid to the injured victims briefly before transporting them to local hospitals. The Albuquerque Police Department has started an investigation to determine what caused the accident to take place. This investigation is currently ongoing.
