In the United States, Auto Accidents have become the most common cause of traffic accidents. In the past decade, more people have lost their lives and sustained injuries in serious car wrecks than for any other reason. On average, the US sees over 6 million car crashes happen per year. These incidents caused over 3 million to sustain injuries and around 40,000 people to lose their lives. Unfortunately, the majority of these incidents are totally preventable and caused by driver error/negligence. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration found that over 93% of auto collisions reported across the nation can be attributed to negligent driving.
Distraction, fatigue, speeding, and intoxication are the most common forms of negligence demonstrated among American drivers today. When a car crash happens because of a negligent driver, it almost always ends badly for everyone involved. Due to the fact that negligent drivers are often not paying attention to their surroundings, have their judgment and vision impaired, or are traveling at unsafe speeds, the collisions they cause almost always cause injuries or even fatalities.
If you or someone you love has been hurt in a recent traffic accident, you may have suffered severe or even debilitating injuries.
