Albuquerque, NM – Car Accident with Injuries at I-25 & Sunport Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (August 23, 2024) – On Thursday, August 22, there were confirmed injuries following an auto accident in the Albuquerque area. That night around 6:39 p.m., the crash took place on Interstate 25 NB near Sunport Boulevard SE. At least one person involved in the crash was hurt, and emergency crews were dispatched to render aid to the involved parties. 

The roadway was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present, and tow trucks were needed to clear the site of the resulting debris and reopen the area to outside traffic. The injured parties were treated at the scene before being transferred to a local hospital for further support. No further information on the crash is currently available.
