Albuquerque, NM – Car Accident with Injuries at Zuni Rd & Charleston St

Albuquerque, NM (August 22, 2024) – On Wednesday, August 21, at least one person sustained injuries following a traffic accident in the Albuquerque area. That evening, around 8:11 p.m., the crash was first reported at the corner of Zuni Road SE and Charleston Street SE. The injured parties were treated by attending medical personnel before being transferred to a local hospital for additional treatment. 

The extent of the resulting injuries has not been determined, and the circumstances leading to the collision have not been reported at this time. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present, and the roadway was later reopened after tow trucks were able to clear the resulting debris.
