Albuquerque, NM – Car Crash at 98th St & I-40 Results in Injuries

Albuquerque, NM (February 15, 2024) – On Thursday, February 15, a car crash with injuries was reported in the Albuquerque area. The accident took place on 98th Street NW near Interstate 40 early that morning at around 7:27 a.m. The injured parties were provided aid at the scene by attending medical personnel. 

At least one person involved in the crash was hurt, but the number and severity of the related damages have not been determined. Local authorities advised local motorists to avoid the scene and to prepare for significant delays while emergency crews were present. The area was later reopened after tow trucks were able to remove the resulting wreckage. 

The crash victims were later transferred to local hospitals by ambulance. No additional information on the crash is currently available. Local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing accident investigation.
