Albuquerque, NM - Car Crash Ends in Injuries at Lead Ave & High St

Albuquerque, NM (July 9, 2024) - At least one person suffered injuries in the aftermath of a traffic accident in Albuquerque on Tuesday, July 9. Emergency crews were dispatched to the crash site at the corner of Lead Avenue SE and High Street SE that morning around 8:05 a.m. There were confirmed injuries, but the severity of the related damages has not been disclosed. 

The injured parties were treated by attending paramedics. Those requiring further treatment were later hospitalized by ambulance. The circumstances leading to the collision have not yet been determined. The resulting debris caused the roadway to be closed for several hours, and tow trucks were needed to clear the site. Local authorities are handling the ongoing investigation into the cause of the collision.
