Albuquerque, NM – Car Wreck at I-25 & Lead Ave Results in Injuries

Albuquerque, NM (August 26, 2024) – On Sunday, August 25, there were reported injuries following a car crash in the Albuquerque area. The accident took place at around 7:50 p.m. on Interstate 25 NB on-ramp near Lead Avenue SE. The injured parties were provided aid by attending medical personnel. 

At least one person involved in the crash was hurt, but the severity and number of the resulting damages have not been determined. The crash victims were later transferred to local hospitals after being treated by emergency responders. No updates on the conditions of the involved parties have been provided. The roadway was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. Tow trucks were needed to clear the resulting debris and reopen the roadway.
