Albuquerque, NM – Car Wreck Ends in Injuries at I-40 & 12th St

Albuquerque, NM (August 1, 2024) – On Wednesday, July 31, emergency officials in Albuquerque were called to provide assistance at the scene of a motor vehicle accident with injuries. The crash was reported to the police department at approximately 10:58 p.m. on Interstate 40 EB near 12th Street NW

There were confirmed injuries at the scene, but the number and severity of the resulting damages have not been determined. The injured parties were treated by attending medical personnel, and those needing additional support were later transported to nearby hospitals for further support. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present, and tow trucks were needed to remove the resulting wreckage and other debris. No additional information on the crash is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is in progress.
