Albuquerque, NM - Car Wreck Ends in Injury at I-40 & Carlisle Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (December 8, 2024) - There were confirmed injuries following a car accident in Albuquerque early on Sunday, December 8. That morning around 1:26 a.m., the collision was first reported on Interstate 40 EB near Carlisle Boulevard NE. At least one person involved in the crash was reportedly injured.

The number and severity of the resulting injuries have not been confirmed at this time. Emergency crews were present to provide aid to the injured parties. Those requiring further treatment were later hospitalized by ambulance. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present.
