Albuquerque, NM - Car Wreck with Injuries at I-40 & Rio Grande Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (May 8, 2023) - On Thursday, May 4, there were reported injuries after a car crash in the Albuquerque area. 

Paramedics were dispatched to the scene at around 9:25 a.m. on Interstate 40 WB near Rio Grande Boulevard. At least one person involved in the accident sustained injuries. The area was closed for several hours until tow trucks were able to remove the resulting debris. 

No updates on the conditions of the injured parties have been provided. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in progress.
