Albuquerque, NM - Collision at Wyoming Blvd & I-40 Causes Injury

Albuquerque, NM (January 6, 2025) - At least one person suffered injuries in the aftermath of a serious car wreck in Albuquerque on Sunday, January 5. That evening around 10:25 p.m., emergency responders were dispatched to the scene on Wyoming Boulevard NE near the Interstate 40 off-ramp. The number and severity of the resulting injuries have not yet been determined. 

The injured parties were treated at the scene before being transferred to local hospitals by ambulance. At this time, the circumstances leading to the collision have not been provided. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews worked the scene. Tow trucks were needed to remove the resulting debris and reopen the area to outside traffic. No additional updates on the accident are currently available. Local law enforcement officials are in charge of the ongoing accident investigation.
