Albuquerque, NM – Collision Ends in Injury at 7th St & Haines Ave

Albuquerque, NM (October 9, 2024) – On Tuesday, October 8, there were confirmed injuries resulting from a car accident in the Albuquerque area. At around 6:51 p.m., the collision happened at the corner of 7th Street NW and Haines Avenue NW. At least one person involved was hurt, but the severity and number of resulting injuries have not yet been determined. 

The crash victims were treated by attending medical personnel before being transferred to local hospitals for additional treatment. At this time, the circumstances leading to the collision have not been made public. The roadway was temporarily closed while paramedics were present, and tow trucks were needed to clear the scene and reopen the road to outside traffic. No further information on the crash is currently available. Nonetheless, an ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in the hands of local law enforcement officials.
