Albuquerque, NM – Crash at 98th St & Gibson Blvd SW Ends in Injuries

Albuquerque, NM (October 7, 2023) – A motor vehicle accident was reported in the Albuquerque area on Wednesday evening that resulted in injuries. At around 515 p.m. on October 4, authorities were notified that they were needed on-site at a vehicle collision that took place on 98^th Street.

Police reports indicate that a collision between vehicles blocked the roadway in the area near Gibson Boulevard Southwest. The incident prompted the response of the Albuquerque Police Department and the Albuquerque Fire Rescue. Emergency crews shut down the roadway extensively as they worked to clear the damaged vehicles and debris from the road.

Emergency medical services responded to care for those harmed. At least one person was transported to a local medical facility, where they underwent further treatment for the injuries they suffered.
