Albuquerque, NM (December 17, 2023) – The police and firefighters out of Bernalillo County responded to the scene of an automobile accident that ended with injuries. The accident was reported at around 8:15 a.m. on December 16.

According to reports provided by the Albuquerque Police Department, a vehicle collision occurred on the westbound side of Interstate 40. The incident prompted the police to shut down the road near Unser Boulevard Southwest. Injuries were confirmed as a result of this collision. Emergency medical services transported those who required further medical care to local hospitals. At this time, investigations into the crash are ongoing.
