Albuquerque, NM – Crash with Injuries on I-40
Albuquerque, NM (December 23, 2023) – On December 22, the Albuquerque Police Department and local firefighters were called to the scene of an automobile accident that sent at least one person to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries.
According to reports provided by law enforcement, at approximately 4:05 p.m., vehicles collided on the westbound side of Interstate 40. The crash caused delays just north of the Wells Park neighborhood as emergency crews worked to remove the involved vehicles from the scene of the crash. Emergency officials remained on site for more than 35 minutes as they worked to reopen the roadway. At least one person sustained injuries and was transported to a local hospital for medical care. The crash is currently being investigated.
