Albuquerque, NM - Critical Injuries in Collision at I-25 & Paseo Del Norte

Albuquerque, NM (April 7, 2025) - On Sunday, April 6, there were reported injuries in the aftermath of a car crash in the Albuquerque area. The collision occurred early that morning at around 11:15 a.m. on Interstate 25 SB near Paseo Del Norte. Local reports revealed that a driver crashed into the jersey barrier on the highway. One person was rushed to a local hospital by ambulance for the treatment of critical injuries. 

Emergency responders were quickly dispatched to render aid to the involved parties. Ambulances were available to transport the injured parties to local hospitals for further treatment. At this time, the severity and number of the resulting injuries have not been confirmed. The roadway was closed for several hours while emergency crews were present, and tow trucks were needed to remove the resulting wreckage and other debris.
