Albuquerque, NM - Critical Injuries in Crash at I-25 & Jefferson St

Albuquerque, NM (November 1, 2023) - There were critical injuries reported in the aftermath of a car accident in Albuquerque on Wednesday morning, November 1. 

The accident took place on Interstate 25 SB near Jefferson Street at around 2 a.m. Two vehicles were reportedly involved in the crash, and initial reports indicated that one person was hospitalized in critical condition. The area was temporarily closed while emergency responders were present. 

The area was later reopened to outside traffic after tow trucks were able to remove the resulting debris. No additional information on the accident has been provided at this time. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in the hands of local law enforcement officials, and more information will be made public as it continues.
