Albuquerque, NM – Expanded Traffic Accident at Wyoming Blvd & Central Ave

Albuquerque, NM (October 5, 2024) – There were reported injuries following a car accident in the Albuquerque area on Friday, October 4. The collision happened at the crossing of Wyoming Boulevard NE and Central Avenue that evening around 11:08 p.m. At least one person involved in the crash was hurt. 

At this time, the number and severity of the related damages have not been confirmed. Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to render aid to the involved parties. Those requiring further treatment were transported to a local hospital for further treatment. The roadway was temporarily closed while local authorities worked to clear the scene, and tow trucks were dispatched to remove the resulting wreckage and reopen the area to outside traffic. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the collision is in progress.
