Albuquerque, NM – Expanded Traffic Crash at I-25 & E Frontage Rd

Albuquerque, NM (December 6, 2024) – At least one person sustained injuries in the aftermath of a car accident in the Albuquerque area on Thursday, December 5. The collision took place on Interstate 25 SB near E. Frontage Road NE at around 5:02 p.m. Emergency responders were dispatched to render aid to the involved parties, and those requiring additional support were later hospitalized by ambulance. 

The roadway was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. Tow trucks were later dispatched to clear the site of the resulting debris and reopen the roadway to outside traffic. No additional information on the crash is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being handled by local law enforcement officials.
