Albuquerque, NM – Fatal Crash at Lomas Blvd & Pennsylvania St
Albuquerque, NM (June 28, 2024) – One person was killed, and another was injured after a car accident in the Albuquerque area. The incident was reported at the corner of Lomas Boulevard and Pennsylvania Street late that evening. Local reports revealed that a white 2021 Jeep and a silver 2013 Chevrolet SUV collided at the scene.
It was later revealed that the SUV was traveling on Lomas when the driver attempted to turn left onto Pennsylvania. The driver reportedly had a green light when they were hit by the Jeep. After the impact, the Jeep hit a telephone pole before rolling onto the driver’s side. The occupant had to be extricated by attending medical personnel. The driver suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the SUV was transported to the University of New Mexico Hospital for the treatment of sustained injuries. No further information on the crash is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the deadly crash is in progress.
