Albuquerque, NM — Fatal Pedestrian Crash on I-25 near Broadway Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (October 29, 2023) – A fatal automobile accident was reported in Bernalillo County on Friday that claimed one person’s life.

On October 27, the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of a crash on Interstate 25. According to official reports, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the area near Bobby Foster Road.

The crash resulted in the closure of the interstate between Broadway Boulevard and Rio Bravo Boulevard as emergency crews worked to clear the scene.

The pedestrian involved in the accident was fatally injured and pronounced dead on-site by responding officers.
