Albuquerque, NM – Girard Blvd & Lead Ave Crash Ends in Injury

Albuquerque, NM (October 18, 2024) – On Thursday, October 17, there were confirmed injuries following an auto accident in the Albuquerque area. The crash occurred at the corner of Girard Boulevard SE and Lead Avenue SE that night around 8:01 p.m. The injured parties were treated at the scene by attending medical personnel before being transferred to local hospitals for additional treatment. 

The area was temporarily shut down as emergency crews were present at the crash site. The resulting debris had to be cleared by tow trucks, and the roadway was later reopened to outside traffic. No additional information on the accident is currently available. Local authorities are handling the ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash, and more updates will be provided as the investigation continues.
