Albuquerque, NM – I-40 & Coors Blvd Crash Results in Injuries

Albuquerque, NM (July 26, 2024) – There were confirmed injuries following a traffic accident in the Albuquerque area on Thursday, July 25. The collision took place on Interstate 40 WB near Coors Boulevard NW that evening around 7:03 p.m. The injured parties were provided aid by attending medical personnel before being transferred to a local hospital for further treatment. 

At this time, the extent and number of the resulting injuries have not been determined. The area was temporarily closed while tow trucks were able to remove the resulting debris and reopen the roadway. No further updates on the conditions of the involved parties have been provided.  Nevertheless, an ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in the hands of local law enforcement officials.
