New Mexico Speeding-related Accidents
There’s always a chance of a serious vehicle accident when you share the road with another driver, but the chance increases dramatically when a driver chooses to go over the speed limit. Speeding increases stopping distance and makes it more difficult to maintain control of a vehicle. This means it is more challenging for drivers to respond to unanticipated dangers on the road. Thousands of people are killed by speeding drivers in the United States each year. Studies reveal that more than 25 percent of all fatal crashes involve speeding drivers. Drivers should be held accountable for any injuries and other damages that arise if they cause a serious crash. This often means working with a skilled collision attorney to pursue a strong claim for compensation.
