Albuquerque, NM – Injuries in Auto Accident at I-25 & Montano Rd

Albuquerque, NM (October 8, 2024) – On Tuesday, October 8, there were confirmed injuries after a car crash in the Albuquerque area. That afternoon around 1:48 p.m.,  emergency crews were dispatched to the scene on Interstate 25 SB near Montano Road NE. At least one person involved was hurt, but the extent of the related damages has not been determined. 

The area was closed while emergency units were present. The injured parties were later transferred to local medical facilities after being treated at the scene. Tow trucks were needed to clear the resulting wreckage and reopen the road to outside traffic. The circumstances contributing to the crash have not yet been determined. No further information on the collision is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being managed by local law enforcement officials, and more updates will be provided as it continues.
