Albuquerque, NM – Injuries in Auto Accident at I-40 & Carlisle Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (July 23, 2024) – There were reported injuries following a serious car crash in Albuquerque early on Tuesday, July 23. The accident took place at around 7:08 a.m. on Interstate 40 EB near Carlisle Boulevard NE. The vehicles involved in the collision sustained significant damage causing the roadway to be closed for several hours. 

Tow trucks were later dispatched to clear the wreckage and reopen the road. The injured parties were provided aid by attending medical personnel before being transferred to local hospitals for further treatment. At this time, no further updates on the conditions of the involved parties have been provided. The cause of the crash has not been determined. No further updates are currently available. Nonetheless, local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing accident investigation.
