Albuquerque, NM – Injuries in Auto Accident on Pan American Fwy

Albuquerque, NM (July 31, 2024) – On Thursday morning, July 31, at least one person sustained injuries following a car crash in the Albuquerque area. The accident occurred near the 5900 block of Pan American Freeway NE at around 2:58 p.m. Emergency responders were quickly dispatched to provide aid to the involved parties. 

The number and severity of the resulting injuries have not yet been determined. The injured parties were treated by responding paramedics before being hospitalized by ambulance. The circumstances leading to the collision were not provided in the initial reports. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. Tow trucks were later sent to reopen the road to outside traffic. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
