Albuquerque, NM – Injuries in Car Wreck at 1st St & Central Ave

Albuquerque, NM (July 4, 2024) – On  Wednesday, July 3, there were confirmed injuries following a traffic accident in the Albuquerque area. The crash occurred at the corner of 1st Street NW and Central Avenue NW late that night, around 8:29 p.m. At least one person involved in the collision was hurt. 

The severity and number of the resulting injuries have not been determined at this time. Emergency crews were dispatched to render aid to the involved parties. Those requiring further treatment were later transferred to nearby hospitals for further treatment. The area was temporarily closed until tow trucks could remove the resulting wreckage and other debris. No updates on the conditions of the injured parties have been provided. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in the hands of local law enforcement officials.
