Albuquerque, NM (January 24, 2025) – There were confirmed injuries following a car accident in Albuquerque early on Thursday, January 23. That afternoon around 2:51 p.m., the collision was first reported on Interstate 40 WB near University Boulevard NE. At least one person involved in the crash was reportedly injured.

At this time, the number and severity of the resulting injuries have not been confirmed. Emergency crews were present to provide aid to the injured parties. Those requiring further treatment were later hospitalized by ambulance. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present.
