High-Speed Collisions in New Mexico
A shocking 37 percent of deadly car accidents in New Mexico involve a speeding driver. In fact, the state has one of the highest rates of speeding-related fatalities in the country. There are an estimated 115 speeding-related deaths for every 100 fatal collisions in the state. Tens of thousands are killed each year by speeding drivers in the United States, and recent statistics have found that speeding has been a factor in roughly one-third of reported traffic fatalities in the past thirty years. Drivers who exceed the speed limit or drive faster than permitted by roadway conditions can potentially be held liable for damages resulting from a serious car crash. If you or someone close to you is hurt in a crash due to no fault of your own, you should not be held responsible.
